Bodegas Borsao Tres Picos Garnacha 2015
"Clearly one of the greatest values in the wine world, is the 2015 Tres Picos... The wine is rich, medium to full-bodied, pure and luscious and hedonistic." 91 Points, Robert Parker
Bodega Borsao consistently delivers astonishingly good value wine, with this 2015 vintage being described by Parker as "one of the greatest values in the wine world", and the previous 2013 selected in Robert Parker’s Best Value 2014 list. Their Vineyards lie in the undulating foothills of the Moncayo mountain, and the Tres Picos which is 100% Grenache comes from some of their oldest Grenache vineyards. Here the yields are very low delivering concentrated, powerful wines. The wine spends ten months evolving in neutral French oak and stainless-steel prior to bottling. The Tres Picos accompanies beautifully with roast lamb. Drink now until 2019.

"Even better, and clearly one of the greatest values in the wine world, is the 2015 Tres Picos. It is a large cuvée of 24,000 cases from 100% Grenache, fermented in both oak and steel and aged in French oak prior to being bottled. The vines come from a relatively high elevation of nearly 2,300 feet from a vineyard planted in 1956. This wine shows loads of classic Grenache characteristics, such as pepper, licorice, underbrush, Provençal herbs and a boatload of black cherries and raspberries. The wine is rich, medium to full-bodied, pure and luscious and hedonistic. Drink it over the next several years." - 91pts, Robert Parker
