Aresti 'Trisquel' Assemblage 2013
A full-flavoured oak aged Cabernet-based blend, a rich and ripe style.
Established in 1951, the high altitude estate has been cranking out superb quality wines since its birth. Situated in the renowned valley of Curico, known for its wine production, Aresti made wines for other wineries, wearing their labels and being top sellers, which motivated Vicente Aresti to start bottling and labelling his own brand. After his death, at 92, his daughters Begoña and Ana María Aresti López took over their father’s endeavor and persevered with a commitment they had learnt from him.
The Aresti Trisquel Assemblage blend is 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Syrah and 14% Petit Verdot. This has a pronounced aroma full of blackberry, plum and some floral notes. There are aromas and flavours of mocha and coffee alongside ripe berry fruits and oak spice. This is a full-flavoured and complex wine with a long ripe finish.
