Deep, dark, smoky, toasty, bittersweet roasted malt flavours. Imperial Stout is a great beer to pair with food (highly recommended, considering the ABV!) Try it with anything from fruit cake or dark chocolate to smoked meats, mature cheeses, or even caviar for a truly Imperial experience.

The brewery still uses stone Yorkshire squares to ferment all its ales and stouts (except Sovereign and Extra Stout) and the same yeast strain has been used since the 1800s.
