Rioja Workshop will include:

• Presentation of the Rioja region (covering the history, varietals, climate, divisions of terroir, etc). 
• Demonstrations on blending techniques in Rioja (everyone will have the chance to blend their own reserva from tank samples of Tempranillo and Graciano)
• Explanation and tasting of the Rioja ageing process with vertical comparisons

This will be followed by a sit down dinner where the winemaker will lead a tutored tasting of the Ontañón wines (6 wines) matched with a series of tapas dishes. This will include discussion on wine and food matching techniques with Rioja wines.
