The Aligote grape used to be very popular in Burgundy but has lost ground to Chardonnay over the years. This is a lovely example of what delicious wine can be made with this grape; much crisper and more lively, makes a refreshing change to Chardonnay - made by one of our top Chablis producer. A nice easy summer time drink and the ideal wine for making Kir by adding Crème de Cassis.
