Georges Pico vinifies and matures his wine in stainless steel, creating crisp steely Chablis, very much in the classic style. This 2004 Chablis Premier Cru is made from grapes grown in the famous Montmain vineyard and is a classic Chablis of outstanding quality, with a rich rounded and intricate combination of acidity and fruit with a nice finish. Although this wine has had no barrique treatment (barrel ageing), extended lees contact ensures added concentration and complexity of flavour. Selling for double our price in some places.
