Chardonnay 2004
The vineyard and cellars are located in Huanacache, a village to the south west of San Juan at 740m above sea level. This is a very rustic and rural area with hot and dry weather but cool nights in summer that optimize the maturity of the grapes. This wine is clear with glints of lemon and lime and very elegant, as is typical of a good Chardonnay. Its aroma is very complex and full of fruit: banana, pineapple, apple and tropical fruit. This wine is fuller bodied and slightly higher in alcohol than normal for a Chardonnay which gives it a sweet, honey-like quality in the mouth with a dry finish. If you like your wines on the stronger side you�ll love this.
