Ole Slewfoot was a North American Bear who had been imortalised in many songs and stories. The brewery has a focus on Traditional Ale making and Bottle Conditioning. Rich in the flavours of pears & apples it has an almost champagne like texture with a tight bubbly fizz, unlike most ales. After what will be a delightful first taste surprise the second mouthful will confirm the richness of this beer with flavours hinting at brandy & calvados. Garlic Roasted Chicken, Rich Roasted Porkwith apple sauce, even the dessert "Tarte Tartin" will be enhanced beyond compare with this superb beer!
