Corinth Cab Sauvignon /Agiorgitiko Red 2004
This wine is made with a blend of the indigenous agiorgitiko grape and better known cabernet-sauvignon from selected vineyards located on the slopes of Nemea and Leontio Village
in Corinth, Greece, famous for its red clay soil at 420 metres above sea level. The grapes are selected and hand picked only when completely ripe, for a soft extraction to maintain the unique qualities of each grape. Carefully fermented in the classic red wine tradition to draw out the unique qualities of each grape variety in temperatures up to 28° C in stainless steel vats before being aged for a short time in French oak barrels. Deep ruby red in colour, well balanced, this fruity wine combines aromas and tastes of blackcurrant with a hint of raspberries and a velvet aftertaste. Ideal to accompany all red meats, cheese and other savoury dishes.
