Macon-Serrieres 2004
Grapes grown in the village of Serrières give this wine its name. A dry fruity wine with juicy raspberry and blackcurrant flavours. Gamay grapes are hand picked from 15 year old vines and the wines lovingly crafted by the Vervier family in the heart of the Macon region. If you like fresh and fruity Beaujolais, you'll surely like this. You can enjoy this wine on its own as its light and easy to drink, although its great with roast meats and sauces. An affordable and excellent everyday wine. Old World at a New World price!
