Caliterra was established in 1996 as a joint venture between the families of Robert Mondavi and Viña Errazuriz. In January 2004 Viña Errazuriz became the sole owners of Caliterra, at the heart of which is the impressive 1000ha Estate. The Tributo Cabernet Sauvignon is a deep ruby red in colour with an intense nose with cherry aromas. The palate is soft and silky with flavours of wild fruits and spicy notes of black pepper, tobacco and a touch of coffee. Enjoy with rich red meats, such as steak.

This is delicious. Juicy with a touch of vanilla coming through on the finish. The tannins are slight and moorish, making you want to keep pouring.

Deep rub red in the glass. Lovely cherry and blackberry flavours, with a touch of spiciness and tobacco. Long lasting on the palate. A mouthfilling and warming red.

The nose is quite intense - bramble fruits, with cherries and a smoky/tobacco character. The intensity continues to the palate with a hint of coffee, black fruit and peppery spice. This is quite a powerful wine, so I would only drink it with food.
