Bergerac Sauvignon 2006

Based on a clay and limestone plateau just to the south of Bergerac in the heart of Dordogne. The style of wine is influenced by the proximity of Bordeaux, using Semillion and Sauvignon for the white wines and Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon for the reds. Sauvignon blanc: nose - lime, lemon, grapefruit and hint of grassiness. Palate - full with good viscosity. Lemon drops and citrus, roundness and well balanced acidity. A great everyday Sauvignon blanc at a great value.
