This is a large estate efficiently run by two generations of the Fontan family. It is based in Gascogne in the South West of France, the centre of Armagnac and Fois Gras. It Contains a blend of interesting local varieties including Ugni Blanc, the grape used in Armagnac, and Sauvignon. Aromatic and perfumed on the nose with citrus fruit and grassy hints. On the pallet it is crisp and mouth watering. Ripe lemon fruit and a clean fresh finish.
