Almost black in colour, this sherry has a pronounced and delicious bouquet of the essence of sweet raisins. The taste is very sweet, smooth, pronounced and delicous just like dried raisins or sweet grape juice.  The wine was awarded a Gold Medal at IWC 2006.  This is a very sweet dessert wine consumed on its own or with rich, fruity puddings. Also classically used as the sauce for one of the famous desserts of Jerez: vanilla ice cream with Pedro Ximénez Sherry.  Serve chilled.
