The Churchill's Late Bottled Vintage (LBV) is a very rich and rewarding Port. Perfect for the holiday season as an elegant apertif, or putting its best foot forward as a festive dessert accompaniment. The sweet, velvety texture of this LBV is accentuated with a vivid display of dense cherry fruit and just a hint of carmel. Full fragrant aromas with red berry fruits, violets and a hint of plums and molasses: it is rich and rounded with a touch of pepper and tea leaves. Lots of character, a classically drinkable port. Very well made and delicious as an aperitif as well as after lunch or dinner. In Oporto it is drunk during dinner with meat or game.
