Domaine de Crouzets Corbieres 2004 comes from an ideal wine growing area and contains Mourvedre 70%, Grenache 15% and Syrah 15%. Most Corbieres rely on the more workmanlike, high yielding Carignan grape. This then is an unusual blend for the region. Rich earthy wine, dark berries and hints of liquorice. Delicious with barbecued meat. A great value red wine from a region in resurgence. Well worth a try.
